Harry Potter Party Digital Files (all in one place)

It's been a long time since I've done a post here, but I recently had someone contact me about some of the Harry Potter birthday party items asking for a comprehensive list of all of my files for sale.  I thought that was a pretty good idea so here it is.  I have linked each item to it's individual post so that you can see what it looks like.

1.  Invitation letter, train ticket, supply list and Hogsmeade permission slip:  $6.00

2.  Gringott's Withdrawal Slip:  $2.00

3.  Ollivander's Label, wand number labels and wand description cards:  $6.00. NOTE:  I DO NOT have the file for the "Your Wand and You" booklet.

4. Standard Lesson Book:  $4.00. I realized I didn't have to many photos of the inside of the Lesson Book so here are a few to give an idea of what is inside.

5.  House attribute cards and House crest buttons:  $4.00

6.  Slug and Juggers potion label:  $2.00

7.  OWL Results and Certificate of Merit:  $4.00

8.  Chocolate Frog Wizard Cards:  $8.00

All files are PDFs and can be purchased either through PayPal at kellyldriver@yahoo.com or Venmo at @kellyldriver.

Once I receive notification of payment I will send the files.

Harry Potter Summer Camp Calender

In order to keep everything organized as well as keep a schedule/list of our daily activities I made a calendar that we kept on display in our "classroom".

I had a blank scrapbook calendar that worked great.

HPSC: Week 12, Muggle Studies and End of Term

Week twelve:  August 14-18

This is our last week of class and I had a hard time coming up with a class but then I thought what about Muggle Studies.  We could fit in a bunch of stuff that didn't necessarily fit into any of the other weeks.

Day 1

We continued with our Divination journals by drawing an Oracle Card and recording it.  We also completed reading the Illustrated Edition of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.  On the Harry Potter Bloomsbury website I found a Chamber of Secrets discussion guide and a Certificate of Completion.  There was also a lot of other really great things on this website that inspired several of the things we did this summer.

Day 2

Today we learned about the Muggle device called the television by visiting the Old Hilliard Early Television Museum.  I had no idea that this place even existed but we went and were pleasantly surprised.  It was really cool and definitely a hidden gem.

Day 3

Today we were supposed to go and see a favorite Muggle past time...a baseball game.  The Columbus Clippers were playing the Rochester Red Wings.

Day 4

Today we are taking our OWLS Exam, which is just book trivia.

And the answers...

Day 5

On our final day I awarded Bug-a-Boo all of the Girl Scout Badges that she earned this summer.

The Scribe Badge
The Digital Photography Badge
The Flower Badge
The Gardening Badge
The Jeweler Badge

I was so lucky to have been able to find Girl Scout Badges that fit our theme perfectly and really enhanced our summer camp.

We also finished out latch hook rugs.  Now we just have to finish off the edges.

This Harry Potter summer camp for my Bug-a-Boo is one of the most involved, organized, creative and daunting things I have ever created and I am so proud of it and so happy that I was able to have all this fun and all these adventures with my favorite little witch.  I hope it is something that she will always remember.  I hope one day I can do it for my grandchildren if I am so blessed.

HPSC: Week 11, Divination

Week eleven:  August 7-11

Today we begin learning the art of Divination.

Day 1

We are going to create a Divination journal to record our daily Oracle Card readings.  Before we start our journals though we need to learn about the Enchanted Map Oracle cards by reading the book that came with the cards.

Day 2

We'll choose an oracle card this morning and record it in our journals.  Then we plan on trying out our pendulums that we made several weeks ago in Charms class and record our findings in our journals.

We also tried some of the activities in Harry Potter Spells and Potions Optics science kit.  I thought it fit the theme of Divination...optics...seeing the future...

Today we did the Precise Periscope, Enchanted Camera and Hogwarts 3-D glasses activities.

Day 3

Today we are learning about our astrological signs.  I'm an Aries and Bug-a-boo is a Leo.  We learned about our signs and did a coloring sheet.

We also did a few more activities from the science kit.

Day 4

Today we did a few worksheets one was trying to use divination to be able to figure out the flavors of Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans.  We got some pretty nasty Beans and a few good ones.

Day 5

Our field trip today was to Madame Puddifoot's Teashop (or the Cambridge Tea House in Upper Arlington).  This also coincided with Bug-a-Boo's birthday and it was the first time that my dad was well enough to leave the rehabilitation facility and join us.  It was a great day.

Next week...Muggle Studies and End of Term
